The Modular Academic Management System or MAMS is a full web-based system designed to handle transactions of any educational establishment. MAMS is an application which handles all the transaction of the school whether centralized or decentralized (schools with braches or campuses ) from admission to graduation.
MAMS includes modules for online application, section management, grading system, faculty scheduling, payment transactions, and many others which will help its users to communicate with each other through the web.

MAMS is accessible to the following users:
- Prospective students (Applicants)
- Students
- Registrar
- Faculty members
- Cashier/s or accounting personnel
- Parents (optional)
Platform independent. The school system can be installed in either Windows or Linux (and its variants) operating system. Even during shifting, users are spared of any worry or concern.
PHP-MySQL solid tandem. Using open-source scripting and enterprise-grade data handling, improvements and adjustments can seamlessly undertaken.
Template design interface. Change layout and design whenever necessary to keep a FRESH and INTUITIVE user interface and spare users of the boredom brought by monotonous design.
ADMISSION MODULE
Prospective students or applicants may apply online using MAMS. The system will generate a number for the applicant which they can use to monitor the status of their application. This application will be sent to the registrar for approval. The system will then notify the applicant if the application was approved or if the applicant needs to submit any requirements. If the application is approved, the applicant may now enroll by paying the necessary fees.

STUDENT MODULE
Students can access MAMS using their username and password given to them by the cashier after their first payment. They can also enroll without going to the school using the system. Students can also update their profile, send and receive messages to and from their classmates/schoolmates, view and print their schedule, as well as their grades.

FACULTY MODULE
MAMS can also be used by instructors. It has features which will help faculty members to view their teaching load, monitor their class list, and even record student grades. Instructors can also send and receive messages to their students or their co-instructors.

REGISTRAR MODULE
MAMS makes the job of any Registrar easier. It helps the registrar to manage all the courses, subject and curriculum files of all colleges per campus. It is also designed to manage section offering and monitor available slots.
MAMS also has the feature which will help the registrar or any school administrator to set up fees, terms of payment as well as scholarships and discounts, if any.
It also helps the registrar to monitor online applicants and approve their application.

CASHIERING MODULE
MAMS is also designed to handle payment transactions (such as tuition fees, laboratory fees, miscellaneous fees, etc.). The system helps cashiers to accept any mode of payment (cash or check) from students. Cashiers can also view students with outstanding balances and monitor their payments.

MAMS can grow with the institution. It is developed along with the already-growing data repository of systems like Library Circulation, Guidance Referral, Alumni Information and others. Other auxiliary systems can also be integrated like Enterprise Resource Management, Fleet and Resource Management, Job Placement and other systems.
